Yahoo Ad Scheduling


Yahoo has recently introduced ad scheduling option for YSM advertisers. We can see new column in Yahoo campaigns tab titled with “Targeting“.

This is for setting demographic and geographic targeting.

We can see performance of the campaigns for the specific times of the day, By analyzing the past hourly performance reports, we can set the ads on/off and also increase/decrease the bids for the specific duration.

Adjust your ad scheduling settings to increase your keywords to your highest bids during those high-traffic, great ROI times of the day.

How to set Ad Scheduling:

Click on “Clock” icon in Campaigns tab under “Targeting” section:

  • If you want your ads to run all day on certain days, select the All Day checkbox under the name of the days on which you want your ads to run
  • If you don’t want your ads to run at all on certain days, clear the All Day checkbox under the name of the days on which you don’t want your ads to run.
  • If you want your ads to run during a set time period of a day, click the schedule section of that day. When the scheduling popup opens, select your ad start and end times for that day. When you finish specifying your scheduling preference for the time period, click Apply.
